Help Us Fulfill KCI’s 3 Rs:Revitalize,Relevant,Responsive

REVITALIZE

1) There is need to consolidate KCI’s membership and revitalizing KCI as a living and breathing organization and fraternity of brothers.

A) There is a need to complete the data-base of KCI members by getting their new addresses, contact numbers, work status and businesses to ensure better communication and sharing of talents and connections, thereby fostering better ties and sense of belongingness.

B) To Use all means of communication to bring pride and camaraderie among brothers – tri-media; text; Facebook, tweets etc. Form a committee to handle KCI group page and make members read it as a habit. Post self-help and employment-related posts.

RELEVANT
2) Increase financial stability of KCI to make it strong enough to meet its mission and mandate and for it to be able to meet its operation needs and requirements.

A) Form a panel to work on fund-generating activities and reach out to financially stable members here and abroad.

B) Hold “KCI sa Kagubatan ng Timberland” getting-to-know-you; knowledge and expertise-sharing; and initial fund-raising activities for KCI members in October or November.

C) Hold Christmas bazaar, foot massage and exotic-food-selling weekends in Timberland or Claret School ground in Quezon City to raise funds.

D) Write foundations here and abroad to seek for financial and non-monetary help. Encourage volunteerism among KCI members and families.

RESPONSIVE
3) Make KCI relevant and responsive to the lives and needs of its members and to society in general. Go back to roots and increase more tie-up work with the Claretian community.
A) Form committee tasked to reaching out and helping KCI members and families. Hold regular skills upgrading seminars and talks among members.

B) Hold humanitarian missions and activities including team-up with Claret Mission Centers; Claret mission cooperatives and book and school businesses; Kris Peace Library etc.

C) Reach out to other ex-priest and ex-seminarian organizations here and abroad.

D) Reach out and do tie-up work with other foundations with similar objectives here and abroad.
