KCI Outreach in Rizal

 

Our association of former priests and seminarians -- the Kapatiran Claretian Inc (KCI) -- in cooperation with the Kristiyano-Islam Peace Library (Kris) is sharing the joys and wonders of computers to poor kids in a ressettlement site in Rodriguez, Rizal. The KCI-Kris Library partnership is turning over three (3) donated computers for use at the Claret Urban Poor Apostolate (CUPA)-KCI-Kris Library established by the Claretian Missionaries in Rizal. We also donated thousands of books to kids in time for the opening of classes. We know of no better way to spend Mother's Day than to make poor mothers in Rizal happy!

Happy Mother's Day to All!

KCI Outreach in Rizal with CUPA

We are inviting all KCI members to the books and computers turn-over to the Claret Urban Poor Apostolate (CUPA)-KCI-Kris Library in a resettlement area for the victims of the killer Typhoon Ondoy in Rodriguez, Rizal this Sunday (May 13).  More importantly, we are giving some 75 poor children there basic school supplies and snacks, courtesy of Fr. Manny Abogado and Bro. Auggie Cadua. Please join us in this event which will be preceded by a Holy Mass at 9 am in the resettlement site. Please bring your families and children too so they will be encouraged to practice Christian Charity and experience the self-giving spirit of our dear Saint Anthony Mary Claret. Please bring old books, old clothes and school supplies if you have some to spare. Cash donations are welcome too for those who are abroad or who cannot come. A bus and private vehicles will be provided for those who want to join. Meeting place is at the Claret School in Quezon City.
