We are inviting all KCI members to the books and computers turn-over to the Claret Urban Poor Apostolate (CUPA)-KCI-Kris Library in a resettlement area for the victims of the killer Typhoon Ondoy in Rodriguez, Rizal this Sunday (May 13). More importantly, we are giving some 75 poor children there basic school supplies and snacks, courtesy of Fr. Manny Abogado and Bro. Auggie Cadua. Please join us in this event which will be preceded by a Holy Mass at 9 am in the resettlement site. Please bring your families and children too so they will be encouraged to practice Christian Charity and experience the self-giving spirit of our dear Saint Anthony Mary Claret. Please bring old books, old clothes and school supplies if you have some to spare. Cash donations are welcome too for those who are abroad or who cannot come. A bus and private vehicles will be provided for those who want to join. Meeting place is at the Claret School in Quezon City. For details as to how you can make your donations or to confirm your attendance to this event, you may contact KCI VP for Finance Paul Polintan and Robert Laurio. Thank you very much for your help and support to this summer KCI activity. |
